Re: Maruti Invicto Review

Saw this Invicto today morning. I first saw the car on a flyover and had mistaken it for the Hycross as it was a bit far ahead. Only when I got closer to it I realised it was an Invicto. The Hyryder and Grand Vitara though are easily distinguishable from the rear.

Maruti has failed in these segments before (Kizashi, Old Grand Vitara etc) so they wish to play it safe by not deviating too much from the Toyota. Their main goal is to target those who wish to get a Hycross but also do not want to lose the service reach of Maruti. There is slight advantage in waiting period too.

Once Maruti has put enough numbers from this segment on the roads, they can then think about launching more products in these segments as well.
